ANNOTATION TOOLS
You can add notes, arrows, and other annotations to a sketch.

- On the Sketch tab, click Annotation.
- Click Line Color
, and select a color
for annotation.
- Click Line
or Arrow
on the Sketch ribbon.
- Click and drag on the sketch workspace to create your annotation.
- On the Sketch tab, click Annotation.
- Click Line Color
, and select a color
for annotation.
- Click Rectangle
or Ellipse
on the Sketch ribbon.
- Click and drag on the sketch workspace to create your annotation.
- To add a fill to the rectangle or ellipse:
- Click Fill Color
, and select a color.
- Click Fill
. Then click the rectangle
or ellipse you want to fill.
- On the Sketch tab, click Annotation.
- Click Text
.
- Click on the sketch workspace to add your text. The Edit Annotation
dialog
box appears.
- In the Edit Annotation dialog
box, make your font and style selections.
- Type your text, and click OK.
- On the sketch workspace, click the annotation.
- To resize a square or ellipse, click and drag the blue boxes.
- To resize a line or an arrow, click and drag the red diamond on
either end.
- To move an annotation, click and drag the center red diamond.
- On the sketch workspace, select the annotation.
- Press Delete on your keyboard.
- On the Sketch tab, click Print.
- In the dialog
box, on the Estimate Reports tab, click Sketch.
- Click Edit Default View.
- Ensure Annotations is selected, and click OK.
- Click Print.
