RESTORE A BACKUP

Restore all backup data

  1. Click the Xactimate tab, and click Tools.
  2. Under Services, click Data Transfer Backup to open the Data Transfer Backup dialog box.
  3. In the Action group, select Retrieve.
  4. In the From box, enter the location where the backup data is stored.
  5. Click Retrieve.
  6. After the data has been restored, the Transfer Results dialog box opens. Click Save Log to save a copy of the transfer session, or click Close to exit.

Restore specific backup data

  1. Click the Xactimate tab and click Tools.
  2. Under Services, click Data Transfer to open Data Transfer dialog box.
  3. In the Transfer type group, verify that Folder is selected.
  4. In the Action group, select Retrieve.
  5. In the From box, enter the location where the backup data is stored.
  6. Click Select Item(s).
  7. In the menu on the left, select the type of item you want to restore. In the menu on the right, select the specific items that you want to restore.
  8. Click Retrieve.
  9. After the data has been restored, the Transfer Results dialog box opens. Click Save Log to save a copy of the transfer session, or click Close to exit.

Restore specific backup data (drag and drop)

  1. Open the folder on your computer that contains the file you want to restore.
  2. In Xactimate, click the Control Center tab.
  3. Drag the file you want to restore to the Data Transfer button.
