ADD LINE ITEMS TO THE KITCHEN

Add cleaning line items

1. Click Estimate Items and select Living Room in the Grouping pane.
2. Press and hold Ctrl, and select the following items:
   • CLNAV
   • PNTSP
   • CLNLIT
   • CLNWD<
   • CLNWD
3. Right-click the highlighted items, and select Copy.
4. Select Kitchen in the Grouping pane.
5. Right-click the Line Item List area, and select Paste.
6. Select CLN LIT, and type 4 in the Calc box.
7. Select CLN WD, and type 6 in the Calc box.
8. Select CLN WD<, and type 2 in the Calc box. Press Enter.
9. In the Quick Entry pane, enter CLN for Cat and PDOR for Sel. Click OK.

Add cabinet line items

1. Click Sketch.
2. Search for and select CABLOW to load the lower cabinet graphic on to your cursor.
3. Click to place a cabinet in the northwest corner of Kitchen.
4. Press Tab four times to rotate the cabinet graphic.
5. Click to place another cabinet to the west of the sliding door.
6. Press Esc to revert to the standard cursor. Click and drag the south side of the first cabinet until it is 15’ long.
7. Drag the west side of the second cabinet until it is 6’ long.
8. Search for and select CABUP to load the upper cabinet graphic on to your cursor.
9. Click to place a cabinet in the northwest corner of Kitchen.
10. Press Tab four times to rotate the cabinet graphic and place it along the north wall of Kitchen next to the first upper cabinet.
11. Copy the second cabinet, and paste a third cabinet between the window and the sliding door.
12. Drag the south side of the first upper cabinet until it is 15’ long.
13. Drag the east side of the third upper cabinet until it is 4’3” long.

Add countertops line items

1. Center the third upper cabinet on the wall between the sliding door and the window.
2. To add the countertop, load CABCTFL on your cursor.
3. Click to place the countertop in the northwest corner of Kitchen.
4. Press Tab four times to rotate the countertop graphic.
5. Click to place the countertop along the north wall of Kitchen, perpendicular to the first countertop .
6. Click and drag the south side of the first countertop until it is 15’ long.
7. Click the east side of the second countertop you created and drag it until it is 8’9” long.

Add sink line items and finish the kitchen

1. The sink and faucet need to be removed, cleaned, and reset when the countertop is replaced. To add the clean sink line item, load CLNSNKDFA and click the north countertop between the window and the sliding door.
2. The sink will need to be removed and reset. To add this to the sketch, load PLMSNKD and right-click on the north countertop .
3. In the Add Line Item dialog box, set Act to R . Click OK.
4. Place the sink graphic on the northern countertop .
5. Repeat steps 29-31 for the faucet (PLMFAU) and place it over the sink.
6. To fix the small hole in the drywall, load DRYPATCH and place it on the northeast corner of Kitchen.
7. To remove and replace the buckled underlayment, load FCVUL1/2 and click within Kitchen.
8. To replace the vinyl kitchen floor, load FCVAV and right-click on Kitchen.
9. Change Act to + Replace. We don't need to estimate replacing and removing for this item, since the cost of removal is covered when the underlayment is torn up.
10. Click within Kitchen to place the vinyl floor covering line item.
