SUBGROUPS
In Sketch, you can designate a structure as a subgroup of another structure.
This allows you to treat a group of rooms as a single room for the purpose
of adding line items. For example a closet is often designated as a subgroup
of a bedroom. When you add carpeting to the bedroom, it is also added
to the closet.
- On the Sketch workspace, select the structure you want to designate
as a subgroup of another structure.
- Click the Properties icon
to open the Properties dialogue
box.
- Click the Subgroup Of list,
and select a structure.
- Click anywhere on the Sketch workspace to close the Properties
dialogue box
and save your changes.
