REGISTER WITH XACTANALYSIS

Xactimate version 28 is the first fully functional cloud-based estimating system.  With your project  and assignment  information  stored on Xactware’s  cloud, you can access  and update  a project  anytime,  anywhere  using any of Xactimate’s  platforms. Your XactNet address allows Xactimate to work with the cloud. You will initially create an XactNet Address when you register Xactimate. The XactNet address can be any format you want, but it should be something specific to your organization, such as COMPANYNAME.CITY.STATE.

Connect to XactAnalysis

Register Xactimate with a new XactNet address

1. Click the Xactimate tab, and click Tools.
2. Under XactAnalysis, click Register.
3. Select I don't have an XactNet address and need a new one.
4. Click OK to open the License Agreement dialog box.
5. Click Agreement Link  to open the XactAnalysis License Agreement.
6. Read the Agreement, and click Accept in the License Agreement dialog box.
7. Complete the form.  
8. The XactNet address should be something specific to your organization, such as COMPANYNAME.CITY.STATE.
9. It must meet the following requirements:
   • It must have all capital letters
   • It must be 31 characters or less
   • It must not contain  the following  characters:  
10. Click OK.
11. Click OK in the confirmation message.

Register Xactimate with a previous XactNet address

1. Click the Xactimate tab, and click Tools.
2. Under XactAnalysis, click Register.
3. In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes to open the Pre-Registration dialog box. Select I already have an XactNet address and want to recover it.
4. Select Enter e-mail address associated with previous XactNet Address, and type the email that was initially registered with Xactware.
5. Click OK.
6. You will receive an email with a security code.
7. After you receive your security code, return to Xactimate and click Retry. Select I already have an XactNet address and want to recover it.
8. Select Enter previously sent security code to complete registration, and type the email that was initially registered with Xactware.
9. Type the security code you received in your email, and click OK.
10. Click OK in the confirmation message.

Connect to XactAnalysis

1. Click the Control Center tab.
2. On the XactAnalysis Communications pane, click Connect . The XactAnalysis Connection dialog box opens.  
3. After the connection is complete, and all items have been sent and received, the XactAnalysis Connection dialog box displays Status Send/Receive Complete.  
4. Click Done.
