SELECT A PROFILE
Independent adjusters complete assignments for a number of different
clients. Xactimate profiles allow adjusters and contractors to prepare
estimates using a client's default preferences.
You can select a profile for a new project.
- On the Control Center,
click Dashboard.
- In the top right corner of the Recent Projects pane, click
the profile list and select a profile.
You can also switch between profiles when setting your preferences.
- On the Control Center
tab, click Preferences.
- In the Settings list, select Profile.
- Click the Profile list and select a profile.
- You can now change the preferences for the selected profile.
Download a new profile
On the Xactimate tab, click Tools.
Click Install New Profiles.
Once you are connected to XactAnalysis, the Select Products
dialog box will open. Select the profiles to install.
Click Next to download
- If the profile you need is not available
in the Select Products dialog box or if you are looking to
add profiles to an online instance, please call 1-800-424-9228 to
have profiles added to your key code.
Change the profile of a completed estimate
If you have created a project, but now need to change the profile, do
the following:
- On the Projects tab, right click a project.
- Select Duplicate.
- Type a name and select a new profile.
- A new estimate will be created with the data from the original
estimate, using the settings from the new profile.
